Producer Terms and Conditions
By registering as a Producer on NectarMap, you agree to the following terms. These apply in addition to NectarMap’s main Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not list or sell products on the platform.
1. Your Legal Responsibilities
You confirm that you are legally allowed to sell the products you list. For honey and other food products, you must comply with all UK food safety, labelling and hygiene regulations, including:
- Providing a valid contact address on the product label.
- Ensuring all honey is accurately described, unadulterated, and meets relevant standards.
- Following applicable environmental health requirements for extraction, bottling and storage.
2. Listing Accuracy
All listings must be truthful and not misleading. You are responsible for ensuring that prices, stock levels, descriptions, and images accurately reflect the products you sell.
3. Order Fulfilment
You agree to dispatch orders within the timeframe shown in your vendor settings. Tracked delivery is strongly encouraged to support customer trust and dispute resolution. You are responsible for packaging items safely for transit.
4. Buyer Service
You must respond to customer messages within a reasonable time and resolve issues relating to damaged items, non-delivery or incorrect orders. If a dispute escalates, NectarMap may intervene and its decision will be final.
5. Fees and Payments
Commission fees and payment processing charges will be deducted from each sale according to your Producer Plan. NectarMap reserves the right to update fees with notice.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Producers must not:
- List counterfeit, illegal or unsafe products.
- Misrepresent product origin, weight, ingredients, or production methods.
- Attempt to bypass NectarMap to sell to customers off-platform.
- Manipulate reviews or misuse messaging or platform features.
- Post offensive, inappropriate or harmful content.
7. Liability
You are solely responsible for the products you sell. NectarMap provides a marketplace platform and is not liable for issues arising from your production, packaging, delivery, or customer interactions.
8. Suspension or Removal
NectarMap may suspend or terminate your vendor account if you breach these terms, fail to fulfil orders, provide false information, or act in a way that harms customers or the reputation of the platform.
9. Changes to These Terms
NectarMap may update these Producer Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
